Sweden has a new foreign minister after the resignation of Laila Freivalds. Jan Eliasson, Sweden's former ambassador in D.C. (and present chairman in the UN General Assembly) moves to the State Department in Stockholm.

Swedish journalists are probably just waiting to see if they can find any dirt on him that could create yet another scandal. I wonder what Britt-Marie Mattsson is able to find.
